2017

W+D North America takes over operative responsibility for F.L. Smithe in Duncansville/USA. W+D acquires Halm Industries in Glen Head/USA and Warmond/NL.

2016

W+D in Neuwied and Löhne, as well as in the US and Malaysia, become members of the Barry-Wehmiller Group. The W+D 410 Easy Enveloper is presented as a new generation of envelope machines.

2015

Presentation of W+D Quality Services - W+D as THE service partner for its customers.

2014

Fusion of the parent company Winkler+Dünnebier GmbH, Neuwied and the W+D Direct Marketing Solutions GmbH to Winkler+Dünnebier GmbH.

2013

Launch of the handkerchief line W+D FLOWTOS and presentation of the FLOW-wrap technology.

2012

W+D introduces the 1st totally integrated mail output solution "TIMOS" at drupa 2012 in Düsseldorf.

W+D opens on April a new representative office in Shanghai, China. This means the positioning of the enterprise into the growth market of China - the base of still more intensive customer contacts in Asia.

Concentration on tissue machines and personal care units in the hygiene sector. Körber AG becomes the majority shareholder of Winkler+Dünnebier AG.

First 4-lane handkerchief machine that produces 8,000 pieces/min.

1998

Winkler+Dünnebier GmbH is converted to a publicly traded corporation. Winkler+Dünnebier acquires the packaging equipment manufacturer MEC Maschinenbau GmbH and integrates it into the Winkler+Dünnebier AG corporation.

In accordance with the family succession planning process, a financial investor acquires the company together with its management.
